The Campus Budget Process is for Control Units on the UC Berkeley Campus, including Administration, Equity and Inclusion, Executive Vice Chancellor & Provost (EVCP), Facilities Services, Research, Student Affairs & University Relations. Information Technology and the Chancellor's Immediate Office are also included in the Campus Budget Process.

EVCP Operating Budget Process - Fiscal Year 2009-10
The EVCP Operating Budget Process is for Units that report to the Executive Vice Chancellor & Provost (EVCP). These include Schools, Colleges, & Divisions, as well as Other Units (Academic Senate, Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive, Cal Performances, Center for Studies in Higher Education, Graduate Division, Library, Student Fee Committee, University Extension, & units reporting to the Vice Provosts). There are separate processes for these two groups.

Campus IT Funding Request Process - Fiscal Year 2009-10
The IT Funding Request Process is an activity-based, integrated part of the campus budget process. Units should submit IT Funding Requests through their Control Unit according to the Control Unit's process and deadlines for the FY 2009-10 budget submission. Control Units should electronically submit the IT Funding Request Summary along with specific IT funding requests to itfr@berkeley.edu.
If you are considering a new technology project, the project sponsor should first contact the Technology Program Office (TPO) through itfr@berkeley.edu. The project sponsor, TPO staff, and the appropriate Associate CIO will discuss the proposed project, assess its potential savings and/or increased revenues and whether or not to develop and submit the project for FY 2009-10 IT Bank or IT Loan Pool Funding.
